Seattle-Nantes Sister City Association has consolidated its scholarship activities and will administer both the Seattle-Nantes Scholarships for students studying French in a college or university in Washington and the Goldmark Scholarships for college students studying in Nantes. Will you help us locate applicants who could benefit from these scholarships?

As in the past, we will award $1000 scholarships to college students or graduating high school seniors who will be enrolled in a college or university in Washington for the 2015-2016 academic year. Students do not need to major in French, but should make French a significant part of their studies, such as a minor to support a degree in business or international studies. The primary criterion will be the student’s ability to demonstrate a passion for French. The deadline for applying is April 15.

Applying for scholarships

Application information for either type of Seattle-Nantes Scholarship can be downloaded from our web site www.seattle-nantesscholars.org. One application form is used to apply for one or both scholarships.
