We are looking for a native or fluent French speaker to teach a class four days a week. The class will be 1:1 with a high school student who has already had 1.5 years of French… Since we are a private school, there is not a requirement for a Teaching Certificate and might be a great fit for a college student.
The position is to teach French to a student who recently transferred to our school from public high school. He has already taken 1.5 years of French. He has said that he can read and write the French that he was taught however, moving forward, he would like the emphasis to be more on conversational French.
The French teacher will be designing the course and curriculum with funds to choose materials and curriculum. So far there is only one student at this level of French attending APL, so the class would only have one student.
The preferred schedule is 9:10-9:55 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Days of the week can be flexible and the second choice for time is 10:00-10:45 AM.
