Job Description: Sales and Brand Representative
Start Date: ASAP (part-time, approx. 20h/week) in Seattle, WA

Role & Expectations:
Represent The French Guys Brand, mission & values at designated Farmers markets (Renton every Tuesday and Queen Anne every Thursday) + help for deliveries/marketing (has to be discussed together). Increase product sales & brand awareness through engaging and educating customers on products. Maintain an average sales per market of at least $600. Handle set up and breakdown of farmers market booths & supplies. Set-up booth that’s orderly, clean & inviting. Ensure all product is transported & stored in accordance with Health Dept requirements. Weekly coordinate/communicate products and cash needs with The French Guys owner. Able to keep extremely organized, timely records of all product in accordance with current systems. Provide content from markets for The French Guys social media platform. Love food and appreciate the complex challenges of our food system. Be dependable, honest, friendly and fun–like to engage and talk to people. Should plan to spend approximately 7 hours per market day, including: pre-market pick-up, driving, both installation, sales, reporting, driving back… Able to lift & move heavy (up to 50 lbs.) & awkward equipment (tent, tables, boxes…)
Requirements:
Personal smartphone able to accept Square payments and Venmo (keep charged for market). Capable of driving The French Guys truck and transporting products & market materials on-site. WA State Food handlers permit (quick training online, paid by the company). Able to speak French and English if possible. Knowledge of the French food industry and prevention of food waste. Contract Length and Terms:
Available to work Tuesday (1pm/8pm at Renton Farmers Market), Thursday (1pm/8pm at Queen Anne Farmers Market). Available for some communication and marketing outside markets days. Available for some deliveries Thursday thru Sunday (Not require, can be discussed together). Starting wages: $17/h + Tips. Able to trade or take home/trade 5 products per market. Also, we hope this role will become a full-time job beginning of 2022. At least 2 weeks’ notice of transition plans is much appreciated.
About The French Guys: The French Guys is based in Seattle and we are an authentic French bakery since beginning of 2021. We are delivering authentic French baked goods around Seattle Thursday thru Sunday and we are starting two farmers market on June 2021. We are fully mobile with a truck who deliver straight to people, we built an online shopping website.
