This workshop introduces students to the French Impressionist tradition while sharing techniques fundamental to oil painting. Students learn how to achieve strong design, color harmony, brushwork and palette knife techniques, and much more.

About the Instructor
Valerie Collymore is an award-winning full-time productive professional fine artist. Using skills from her former career as a medical doctor, Valerie condenses a great deal of key information into easily assimilated units and simplifies complex concepts and practices. Collymore creates a highly supportive environment which favors joyful productivity and experimentation.
