Busy working parents in Queen Anne are seeking a highly professional, experienced bilingual nanny for their two children; a baby boy (3 most) and his big sister (2 years). They have had a great experience with their most recent nanny, who was with them for nearly 2 years but recently had to return home to France. She’s left some big shoes to fill but they are excited about finding another wonderful fit to become part of their family for years to come!
Their scheduling needs are Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm (50 hours/week). There is also an opportunity for some extended days a few days per week if their nanny wanted to pick up additional hours!
Their ideal candidate will have several years of recent full-time professional nanny experience working with infants and toddlers, a firm but loving approach, and be native-level fluent in either French or Mandarin (their previous nanny spoke French to the children, and dad speaks Mandarin to them). They do enjoy a healthy lifestyle, so someone who values this in their own life will be the best fit for them. Their daughter attends a ‘music together’ class that their nanny will take her to, so a musical interest would be a big plus as well! Their nanny must be mature, and a candidate with experience raising her own children/grandchildren would be a huge plus, though this family recognizes that meaningful experience comes in many forms and is open to considering a younger candidate who otherwise meets their qualifications.
IF YOU:

– are mature, intuitive, proactive, fun-loving, and a good communicator
– are fluent in French
– have your own reliable transportation
– can make a commitment of at least 2 years
– are CPR certified or willing to become certified prior to your first day of work
– take direction well, but don’t need to be micromanaged in your nanny role
